Bangladesh Venture Capital Ltd. (BVCL) registered with Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission as an alternative investment fund manager announced its first VC Investment exit from Inventus Limited.

The shareholding of BVCL was purchased by the company itself under buyback as they are expanding their business in Japan and a few shifting their operation as well. The share transfer agreement was signed on December 12, 2022, at BVCL Tower in Sukrabad, Dhaka. Mr. Md. Jahir Uddin, Managing Director of BVCL, and Mr. Mir Md. Rezwanul Islam, CEO of Inventus Limited was also present at the signing ceremony.

Inventus Limited is an offshore software development company with the main services and development department in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The company mainly offers software & mobile app development and maintenance services. Currently, they are shifting their business from Bangladesh to JAPAN. Their key strength was their Team which they have a combined 28 Years of working experience in this field. Chairman Mr. Mohammad Belayet Hossain completed his graduation from Buet and former tech person at Apple Inc. Also Managing Director Mr. Rezwanul Islam has vast multination work experience.

The Investment was made in 2020. In two years, the investment yield is two and a half times the capital gain.
